The end

I tried to not think about Archimedes being gone. He was just an evil robot that used me to find Atlantis; he never really cared about me. Instead of just mopping around the beautiful city, I thought I would try to take my mind off of him by playing with the baby kraken. We were tossed a ball back and fourth for a while and each throw of his became stronger and stronger. I was having a lot of fun, but eventually they started to almost hurt. I suggested that we took a break because I was getting tired. The baby then called me a pansy; the first word the baby had said was the first name that Archimedes called me while he was carrying the egg. This made me snap, I was about to start balling, and then out of no where he showed up. He swam to me as fast as he could, and then he hugged me. I was so excited to see him again. He apologized for leaving in such a rush, he was just worried about his creator. He told me that he had started his journey to save his life because he was sick, and the chalice of youth was at Atlantis. He saved his creator and shortly after realized he did not want to be evil any more so he came back to stay with me and our friends. THE END

We finally made it!

We started to look around the city. It was beautiful. We ran into Walter and the kraken and it's baby. It had been only been a few day's but I could tell that the baby has gotten much bigger. We all began to happily chat and Archimedes began to emit cheesecakes. We all started digging in, but as soon as we looked up after devouring the cheesecake Archimedes wasn't in site. I had just made my dream a reality, but within the blink of an eye, it had turned into a nightmare. I had no idea where he had went, but then I remembered that he was created for evil and he never told me his reason behind searching for Atlantis. This made me worry. He was my best friend, and he left without even saying good bye. I didn't know if I'd ever get to see him again or if I'd ever find out why he left, but at least I am finally at Atlantis, and i go have some great friends here with me.

The darkness

We began to swim towards Atlantis. It seemed like we had been swimming for a while, I couldn't tell how much progress we have actually made. The further we got, the dark everything seemed to be. I thought this was odd because I assumed that Atlantis would be a happy and bight place. Out of no where, we were attacked. Spinning wheels of color zoomed by us. We started looking around to see where it came from and we saw a mermaid. She looked like Amy, but she was different. She was dark, Amy was always surrounded by light. And then she attacked us again. We weren't sure what to do to avoid the color wheels of death. We both had a feeling that it was Amy, but something had gone wrong and she had lost her goodness. The only think we could think of to do was to hug her to see if it brought her light back. It did. She began to giggle and the darkness disappeared. Atlantis shimmered in the bright light.

The boat

We swam up to the nets to try to free the fish. The nets were stronger than we expected them to be. I couldn't bite through them, the kraken couldn't rip them, and Archimedes couldn't even break them with his lasers. We didn't know what to do. We all tried to think of more ways to break the net, I tired using my fins, and the kraken tired using her beak, but that didn't work either. And then I remembered,  we had the fish scales. I puled them out and gave them to the kraken, she held them with her tentacles and started to spin quickly in order to sharpen them against some rocks on the ground. Thankfully it worked. We cut the nets and all of the fish swam to their freedom. The kraken was really happy with us. The fact that we were more concerned to save the fish rather than to destroy the boat was the real test. There was a compass inside the net that she gave to us. This compass was special, instead of pointing north, it points towards Atlantis. We finally have an actual direction to head in.

Humans

The kraken, Archimedes and I started to look for the fishing boat that she wanted us to stop. As we looked for it, she started telling me about how evil all humans are. I didn't know what to say because I knew nothing about any humans other than Archimedes creator. Archimedes truly cares about his creator, but he didn't know much more about other humans. He began to stand up for his creator, but he soon realized that he is evil, therefore he did not have much to argue about. The kraken just smirked and kept swimming. Some awkward and silent time past by, and then we found the boat. It was big, and it had many nets coming off of it with many fish caught in them. I could see why this upset the kraken so much and why she wanted us to come help. How could human's do this? They truly must be evil.

The final task

The baby's crying seemed never ending. I tried to comfort it but nothing seemed to work. The crying seemed to get louder and louder. I could see something swimming towards us from the distance. As it got closer I could see that it was another kraken. It must have been the mother kraken who heard it's baby's cry. The mother kraken was HUGE and hideous looking. She told us that she had been waiting for her egg to hatch so she could find us for a long while. She wanted to give us one final task in order for us to prove our worth of finding Atlantis. We have done so well with being peaceful towards the other sea creatures, but she wanted to see how far we would go for the lives of others. She wanted us to join her to attack a human fishing boat.

The kraken

The sea horse, Walter, introduced himself to us.  We started to chat about our adventure, and to our surprise, he knew a thing or two about Atlantis. He used to work with Amy, which is also how he developed a love for cheesecake. He told us that he the kraken, a huge, ugly, and vicious octopus like creature, holds the key to finding Atlantis. I was unsure of how to react to this. I didn’t know what a huge monster had to do with Atlantis. As we were chatting and trying to figure things out, the egg hatched. A baby kraken came out of the egg, and along with the baby came some goo that broke the bond of the magical yarn tying us together. Now we knew why Amy gave us an egg, but what are we supposed to do with a baby kraken and to top it all off, it began to cry.

Cheese...cake..?

We went to the playground and saw the gang of manta rays playing with our egg as if it were a soccer ball. This angered the both of us. Archimedes used his laser vision to shoot at them which quickly got their attention. Their first reaction was to swim at him to attack him back, but then they realized that he was with me, a huge vicious looking shark, so they swam away with fear leaving the egg behind. We went to grab the egg and as soon as we did, a weird creamy, yellowish pie type of things came out of his bottom. I had no idea what it was. He started to eat it, which intrigued me. He asked me if I wanted some and confused I said no. Why would I want to eat his robot poop? He continued to eat insisting that I tried some. He called it cheesecake. I like cheese, and I like cake, so I figured a bite couldn’t hurt. He gave me one and I ate it whole. It was the best thing I had ever tasted. I asked him why he hadn’t given me some sooner because I’d never have to think about eating another fish ever again. He told me he only emits cheesecake when he’s extremely happy. I found that interesting because saving the egg made him happy; maybe he is a good robot after all. As we were eating and celebrating getting the egg back, a sea horse swam by and asked for some cheesecake.

Finding the egg

Because we were bound together, Archimedes gave in and let me know what had happened to him. Apparently, his eyes work as a video recorder and he could show me what happened. He showed me a video of him trying to find me. In the video he is attacked by a gang of manta rays and they took the egg. I realized that he didn't want to show me because he was ashamed of being beaten up, but letting me know sooner would have been less complicated than this; now we were stuck together for I don't know how long. We didn't know where to start looking for the gang, so we tried to find some fish to ask, but of course, because I'm a shark, all the fish we found would just swim away from me. Eventually we found a fish that remembered us from the night club, and we asked him if he knew anything about the manta ray gang. He told us that they were known to hang around a playground.

Stuck

I started to panic. I had just had a conversation with him about how he was created for evil, and let him return to the surface with the egg. What if he doesn't come back? What if he comes back with out the egg? WHAT DO I DO? Without the egg my journey is back to square one, but I guess the egg hasn't provided much actual help anyway. My tangled thoughts weren't helping my stress levels. I started to aimlessly swim around hoping that it would help me calm down. I finally started to calm down and then Archimedes found me. I was excited to see him, but I noticed he was all scratched up and dented. I asked him what had happened and he told me not to worry about what happened to him. I tried to convince him to tell me and then he told me the egg was stolen. Angrily, I asked him what had happened again and he refused to tell me again. How could he lose the egg and not tell me? I started to yell at him, demanding an explanation and he just continued to refuse to answer me. Out of no where, there was a flash of light and Amy showed up again. She told us that in order to find Atlantis we would have to work together and to ensure that we work together she bound us together with magically unbreakable yarn. She told us to work together to save the egg, and then she disappeared again.

Half way there

Archimedes wanted to go home to have his creator fix him which I thought was a great idea at the time. He gave me a tracker so he could find me when he gets back. As I watched he return to the surface, I realized that him leaving means I would be alone again. I hate being alone. I started to panic and did not know what to do. Things were finally starting to look good for me. I finally had a companion and thanks to him I made more progress in my search for Atlantis in the last week or so than I had made in the year before that. With him gone, for I don't know how long, what would I do with my time? I started to stress uncontrollably which gave me urges for blood. I decided that it would be a good idea for me to re-visit my rehab before I snapped. I got to see some old friends and we started to catch up with each other. They all thought my search for Atlantis was silly and unrealistic so I wanted to let them know I finally a clue of how to find it. And then it hit me, HE HAS THE EGG.

Short-circit

Archimedes acted a bit awkward after the nigh club. I think this was because he is starting to realize that he cares about me. And then he asked me if he could turn my fish scales into ninja throwing stars. I sighed in relief because he was acting like himself again and I politely said no. I asked him why he is always thinking about violence. He responded by asking why I am always so nice. I explained that I used to be extremely violent and I wanted to change my ways. He then explained to me that he was created with the intent to be evil and he could not fight it although he sometimes knows what he is doing is wrong. This made me question why he was searching for Atlantis to begin with, but before I could ask, he all of a sudden said he thought he was dying. He started to quickly swim in circles in attempt to not over heat, and I was in shock. I asked him what was wrong and he replied that he thought he was malfunctioning or something because he was built to be in fresh water, not salt water. He had never been so deep in salt water for so long. I became really worried about him.

Does he care?

There was a night club not to far from where we were. Archimedes wanted to go and although I knew that if I go anywhere heavily populated by fish I would cause a scene, I agreed. I just wanted him to be happy. He was as excited as I was hesitant. As soon as we got there, as I assumed would happen, the music stopped and all the fish swam away screaming. As the initial startle of me showing up calmed down, they all realized I wasn't trying to eat them. Then they actually started to try to get me to leave. This hurt me more then them just running away; if they see that I am not going to eat them they should give me a chance to be around them peacefully. As soon as I turned around to leave I saw the same look in Archimedes' eyes as when he was about to attack the pirate octopus. I quickly swam in between him and the fish glaring at him because violence is wrong. Before he realized what I was doing, he shot laser beams from his eyes towards the fish who were trying to get me to leave, and of course, thankfully it hit me rather then the other fish. It hurt. This showed the fish that I was actually a peaceful shark and they started to want him to leave instead of me. They gave me some of neon fish scales for saving their lives but we still left because we didn't want to cause more drama. I was curious as to why Archimedes shot at the fish. He told me he just has a need for violence, but i have a feeling that he was bothered about how upset I was. I gave him a chance to party, which he was extremely excited about, and he messed it up by trying to, in his own way, cheer me up.

The unborn clue

The mermaid's name was Amy. She said she would help us find Atlantis because she could not see darkness within our hearts. She handed us an egg and told us if we could successfully nurse the egg until it hatches it would lead us to Atlantis. And then she disappeared in another blinding flash of light. I realized it may not have been the smartest idea to trust her because almost everyone else I've met on this journey has lied to me, but this was our only lead. I asked Archimedes how we should carry the egg around with us on our journey. He said in his stomach. I thought he meant in his hatch, but he meant he actually wanted to eat it. I saw him swimming towards a rock to crack it open, but I stopped him. My eyes started to tear up a bit when I realized how truly heartless he was. He was about to eat an unborn mystery creature that was our only clue to finding Atlantis. I had to lecture him as if he was a child and I took the egg away from him. I swam behind him and put the egg in his hatch without him realizing it. he realized that I was no longer carrying the egg, i told him not to worry about it. Then I apologized. I asked him what he wanted to do while we waited for the egg to hatch. He wanted to go to a party.

The map

We fallowed the map for a while, and eventually we realized that it was just leading us in circles. I did not know what to think about this, but Archimedes though the octopus lied to us again. I didn't want to believe that, but it was hard not to. He had lied to us before, and I'm not sure how much I should trust a pirate anyway. Archimedes wanted to go back eat him, but I am against violence. I told him we should go back and have a word with him before even considering to hurting him. He agreed to not hurt him, so we went back. As soon as we got there, he pretty much pounced to attack him. I jumped in the way to stop him because violence is wrong. I was disappointed in him and that he lied to me, but this was not the time to deal with it. As soon as I stopped Archimedes from trying to attack the octopus, a flash of blinding light came out of no where. As soon as my vision returned I saw a stunning mermaid.

octo-PIE

The octopus had apparently lost eight of his pies. A group of evil red cups and bubbles stole them from him. In order for to receive his help, we would have to return his pies. He did not know the whereabouts of the cups and the bubbles so we had to go look for them. Thankfully they weren't far. As we left the ship, we noticed some bubbles falling from the top. We swam to the top of the ship and found the thieves and the pies. To our dismay, we noticed that it was actually the cups and the bubbles baking  the pies. The octopus lied to us, which I disprove of, but I understand. I know what it is like to be hungry, considering that I don't eat fish any more, it is hard for me to get a decent meal. So I politely asked the cups and the bubbles if they could spare 8 pies to help us with our adventure. They happily agreed, which is nice because if they were fish they would have just swam away. We brought the octopus his pies and didn't even mention that he lied to us. He handed us a map to Atlantis in return.

Scary Ship

Archimedes asked around to find the octopus' location. He found out that the octopus lived in a sunken ship south of the town we were at. Soon after we started looking for him, we found the ship and it was big and scary. I saw the octopus through one of the big holes. From far away I could see that he had an eye patch. As we got closer, I realized that a hook was in place of one of his tentacles. He was a pirate octopus! I cautiously entered the ship while I noticed that Archimedes wasn't the slightest bit hesitant. He actually called me a pansy because I was swimming so slowly. He approached the octopus and asked if he could help us to find Atlantis. He told us he'd help us if we help him first.

I made a friend!

I tried to ask some fish about this octopus' whereabouts, but all the fish are afraid of me. I went from city to city trying to find an answer. Eventually I found a city where the fish were to distracted to notice me swimming towards them. They were all huddled in a large crowd and I wanted to see what all the commotion in the ocean was about. As I got closer, I over heard the fish mumbling about Atlantis. This peaked my interested and I rushed towards them which scared them off. After they swam away, I could see that they were all huddled around a robot. I swam up to the robot and asked if he was the one asking about Atlantis. It was him, so I happily told him about the rumors of the octopus I was looking for. I asked him if he could ask some fish if they knew anything about the octopus' location because the fish wouldn't let me get close enough to ask them myself. He happily agreed and introduced himself to me. His name is Archimedes. At the time, he seemed like a friendly robot. I was really happy to finally have a companion for my journey.

Sharkie

Hello my name is Sharkie the shark. I used to be extremely violent and addicted to fish. I had a real problem, but I went to a rehab for sharks to get my life back in order. I am a whole new shark now and I am a vegetarian . I've decided to spend my life traveling and exploring the seas because it has always been my dream to find the lost city of Atlantis. I have spent the last year searching for Atlantis all by myself. No one wants to help me; all of the other sharks find me odd and everyone else is afraid of me. It has been a long and lonely road, but I finally have a lead of where to find Atlantis. It is rumored that an octopus somewhere knows how to find it.
